Tawdry remake of the 1979 Chuck Barris cult classic game show, "Three's a Crowd." Three sets of three contestants competed, each having a central contestant and two companions (e.g., a current boy/girlfriend and an ex-boy/girlfriend). With the companions off-stage, host Thicke posed a (usually embarrassing) question to the central contestant. Points were scored depending on whether one or both of the contestant's companions matched answers. After a series of questions came the end game, where Thicke posed multiple-choice personality trait-type questions to one team at a time; separately, each companion selected one of three possible answers. A match earned points. The leading companion at the end of the round won a $1,000 bonus (and usually eternal embarrassment).

Roommates Lola, Oma and Rita are caught in a love web with their neighbors Bayo, Derrick and Afam. Lola is in a relationship with Derrick the playboy. Rita struggles to hide her job as an escort from her roommates while Bayo’s uncle Richard helps Oma land her dream man. Three's a Crowd is an American television sitcom sequel to Three's Company. It is loosely based on the British TV series Robin's Nest, which was itself a spin-off of Man About the House, on which Three's Company was based.

An old man is reading a book by the fire. The clock strikes 8, and he heads off to bed. From his book, Alice in Wonderland, out crawls Alice, who turns the radio to the title tune. This wakes up Rip Van Winkle; Alice then rouses the Three Musketeers, who sing a bit. Next tune: Nero fiddles, Rome burns, and Cleopatra sizzles in a slinky dance. Uncle Tom sings a spiritual as Mr. Hyde sneaks up and abducts Alice. Tarzan to the rescue, along with several other characters who mount a spirited attack using such office supplies as pen points, matches, and a fountain pen. They box him up and carry him off.

Ysay and Hannah search for a new partner after losing their boyfriend, while a married couple's reunion with an old friend takes a turn when the guest becomes romantically involved with them both, unraveling two stories of love and desire.
